SPAR team spirit is running high for the JumpStart Challenge, from 12-20 March! A group of pumped-up SPAR runners is prepped for the physical Challenge at Holla Trails in Sugar Rush Park; while a peloton of SPAR cyclists is planning a virtual downhill bolt to the Durban beachfront.

Thank you SPAR for bringing joy to the Challenge, and for joining us on our mission to empower unemployed youth.

SPAR is a long-standing, valued partner of Mr Price Foundation. The SPAR Group first became involved in the Ride for Mr Price Foundation – now rebranded as the JumpStart Challenge – a decade ago.

This was the start of a beautiful relationship and SPAR became a JumpStart investor seven years ago. Today, it sources much talent for their stores from the JumpStart Retail Frontline Programme.

Since 2007, the JumpStart programme has trained over 22000  youth for retail frontline jobs. Unemployed youth are equipped with foundational life skills and hands-on work experience to bridge the gap between school and work, and ensure they enter the job market well prepared.

Tackle the JumpStart Challenge virtually, in your own time and place, from 12-20 March – or at Holla Trails in Sugar Rush Park, Ballito. A big day is planned for 13 March – #JustStart!
