THE MILADYS TEAM stepped out on the Durban beachfront in style on Friday afternoon. Kitted out in striking team outfits, not only did they turn heads, they made sure that every step counted when they took on the JumpStart Challenge presented by Mr Price Foundation.
With the sun shining bright – and smiles even brighter – over 60 participants ran or walked 3km and 7km routes with a single purpose: to help break the cycle of poverty and inequality among South African youth.

Every rand raised goes towards Mr Price Foundation’s JumpStart programme. This is a youth empowerment initiative to upskill unemployed matriculants to enter the exciting world of retail.
“Hats off to Miladys for their incredible support of the Foundation’s biggest annual fundraising event. Your team spirit is unbelievable! You certainly helped create awareness and a presence for the JumpStart Challenge,” said Karen Wells, head of Mr Price Foundation.
With banners, dance, music and pizzazz, the lively Miladys team proved that with passion, value and partnership, true success can be achieved.
Miladys has challenged other corporates to #JustStart by tackling the virtual Challenge this weekend.
The JumpStart Challenge ends at midnight on Sunday, March 20. Get your race number for just R99 and walk, run or cycle to empower youth with education and skills to last a lifetime.
