The Professional Retail Programme is a life-changing work experience opportunity for graduates to gain a foot into the exciting world of retail. The course aims to develop well-rounded merchants and traders by exposing graduates to the universal principles of retail and the value chain and teaches graduates in-demand skills to succeed in the retail careers of Buying, Planning and Operations Management Development.
B Com, Retail Studies and Business Management graduates or final year students can apply.
The Pre-Production Programme aims to develop graduates’ skills to help jump start their career in the sectors of clothing and footwear manufacturing. The innovative internship aims to bridge the wide gap between tertiary education and the manufacturing industry, offering graduates the unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience and critical skills in the local manufacturing sector.
The eye-opening internship exposes graduates to the value chain, from raw materials to final product, and aims to develop well-rounded professionals and ultimately a more employable graduate. Fashion Design, Clothing management and Textiles studies graduate or final year student can apply.
The retail and manufacturing are filled with promising career opportunities and this course offers an invaluable learning experience to assist eager youth to access these opportunities. If the internship is successfully completed there may be an opportunity for career advancement.
