We’re supporting oThongathi tornado relief efforts with a R50,000 donation in clothing and blankets, to offer the community relief in their hour of crisis.
Several communities in oThongathi were devastated by extreme weather on 3 June that destroyed houses and left families out in the cold.
We’ve been active in oThongathi for many years through our EduRise and JumpStart programmes and hope that our gift provides families comfort and hope.
Our donation will be distributed via iThuba Africa, a local non-profit providing emergency assistance in the form of food, toiletries, water, clothing, blankets, as well as building materials.
We call on South Africans to rally together for oThongathi and give hope to a community in crisis.
How can you assist?
Donations in the form of the items listed above can be delivered to the Tongaat Town Hall or the Tongaat Sports Centre.
To join relief efforts on the ground or make a cash donation, please contact iThuba Africa on 076 579 1182 / [email protected]
Thank you!
