Our rooftop farm at HandPicked CityFarms Kenilworth Centre is blooming! Thanks to the attention of Farm Manager Akhona Gxuluwe (pictured) and our HandPicked interns from Langa, a beautiful flower tunnel has become renowned as the ‘Insta tunnel’.
A truly modern hydroponic farm, this agrihub produces a range of herbs, veggies and flowers. These are supplied to restaurants in Kenilworth Centre (among others) – meaning ‘from farm to fork’ is a matter of metres.
This thriving agrihub recently celebrated its one-year anniversary and featured in the South African Irrigation Institute (SABI) magazine.
