MRP Foundation is a Public Benefit Organisation (PBO) that assists beneficiaries through our youth development programmes. We can assist companies with their transformation journey and their Broad-Based Black Economic Empowerment goals by helping them achieve points on their B-BBEE scorecard.

We can help your business with your B-BBEE goals

We have a Socio-Economic Development (SED) certificate which confirms that 99% of our beneficiaries are black, 67.88% are black female and 89.23% are black youth. This means that all donations to MRP Foundation can be claimed under the SED element of the B-BBEE Scorecard.

The MRP Foundation also has a Level 1 Specialised Entity QSE Affidavit with more than 75% black beneficiaries. This means that any purchases of goods and services from MRP Foundation can be claimed under the Preferential Procurement (PP) element at 135% recognition i.e. for every R100 spent, R135 is recognised as BEE spend. Further to this, more than 51% are black female and black youth, therefore additional scoring under PP can be achieved. For more information on the types of goods and services we can offer, such as fairtrade coffee through Foundation Coffee or employee placement from the Jump Start database, please contact us [email protected]

MRP Foundation’s Jump Start programmes can assist companies facing challenges with accessing a talent pool of skilled candidates, specifically black youth, who have been empowered with life skills and work experience. Assisting unemployed youth has a direct benefit to a company’s B-BBEE scorecard and the MRP Foundation is uniquely positioned to assist in this area.
