JumpStart unlocks career potential and fast-tracks careers for unemployed youth in the retail and manufacturing sectors. Through life skills workshops and in-store work experience, the skills development programme bridges the gap between education and the world of work.
JumpStart’s employer partners are currently looking for youth to apply for the Retail Frontline Programme and kick start their retail journeys. The programme trains youth for entry level positions for several leading retailers throughout South Africa.
If you are passionate, committed and open-minded, JumpStart can help you build a meaningful career. Candidates must be South African citizens, between the ages of 18 and 33, with a Matric, you could be well on your way up the retail career ladder.
Youth from the following areas in the Cape Town region are urgently encouraged to apply: Dunoon, Milnerton, Brooklyn, Joe Slovo, Maitland, Kensington, Factreton, Goodwood, Garden village, Ryterwacth, Elsiesriver, Ravensmead, Parow, Bishop Lavis, Langa, Belville, Boston, Edgemead, Canal Walk, Tygerburg and Northern Suburbs.
While the programme won’t guarantee you a job, successful JumpStarters gain credible work readiness experience that retail employers are looking for.
